A free firescaping workshop to teach residents how to reduce home vulnerability to wildfires will be held at the Library Community Room on Thursday, June 12 at 6 p.m. The event, sponsored by the Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District and city, will discuss fire risks, soil moisture balance, protective landscaping practices, and planning fire-resistant yards.
