Woman injured in encounter with bear
CBS News reports that a woman was injured this morning in an encounter with a bear in north Monrovia, in the Ridgeside/Oakdale area according to social media reports. The woman was walking her dog and the bear charged and swiped at her, hitting the back of her knee. A neighbor scared the bear away with an air horn. Details.
