Monrovia Canyon Park To reopen June 27

Monrovia Canyon Park will reopen to the public on Friday, June 27, at 8 a.m., according to an announcement from the Monrovia city government. There will be an invitation-only (to avoid overloading the park) ribbon cutting ceremony on June 26.

  1. About time. I can’t wait to be allowed back in to access the vast majority of the park which had no changes.

    2. I’ve been up there plenty of times in the intervening years. Much of it was fine immediately, and the parts that weren’t have been fixed for a very long time. If your goal was to access the high speed internet in the new amphitheater, though, yes you needed to wait until now.
