Pasadena Humane, which serves Monrovia, will waive adoption fees for all adult dogs and cats, six months and older, from July 9 to July 20 during its “Hot Dog & Cool Cat” summer promotion. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The event aims to find homes for nearly 150 animals as shelter intake rises. Adoptions are first-come, first-served, with standard screenings.
