A Moment in Monrovia History: Early days at the Monrovia Post Office

Here is the Monrovia Post Office in early days. The man at left is Frank Zimmerman, longtime Postmaster at Monrovia (Assistant Postmaster in 1908). Sitting on countertop is Postmaster Charles H. Anson (Postmaster from 1904-1914). The post office was in the 600 block of S. Myrtle. From the Myron Hotchkiss collection. See full details here.
