City Manager expresses condolences to family of man killed on 210 Freeway

In his weekly report City Manager Dylan Feik expressed his condolences to the family of the man who was killed by a vehicle after fleeing onto the 210 freeway to avoid an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid at Home Depot Thursday. Feik said, "I know exactly what I would do if shopping and masked men began abducting people...I would be scared and would run for cover and hide. And I would teach the same to my family."

Update: A vigil is planned at Home Depot for tonight. Details

Update 2: The victim has been identified as 52-year-old Carlos Roberto Montoya, from Guatemala. Details

    As to "masked men", I think if you can't tell who ICE is from quite a distance, you're blind. Or crippled by TDS.
