City Council to consider: September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month; Letters supporting antisemitism bill in Assembly

At its next meeting (agenda here) the City Council will consider declaring September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and, in light of "a troubling rise in hate based incidents, particularly those targeting Jewish students," will consider sending letters to Assembly members John Harabedian and Blanca Rubio asking them to support Assembly Bill 715, Antisemitism Prevention in K-12 Education.
