Christmas-y Events in Monrovia

~ Tonight, Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. at Library Park, followed at 7 p.m. by the "Santa, Snowmen and Song" parade along Myrtle. http://goo.gl/C0SIi UPDATE: Oops! The tree that was to be lit was blown over, so no tree lighting.

~ A nice roundup of seasonal events in Charlotte Shamadan's column in the Star-News: http://goo.gl/3ZPPM

~ Including (from Charlotte's column) a presentation of Handel's Messiah at Monrovia's First Presbyterian Church at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 4. [I love trying to sing Messiah, but was never really able to get a Handel on it.]
