The Community Center is planning a trip to the Lavender Nights Festival at 123 Farm (see here) on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 3 to 10:30 p.m. It's located in Cherry Valley (north of Banning in Riverside County). Lavender fields and gardens illuminated by more than a half million lights, live music, food vendors. Bus departs at 3 p.m. Cost is $35 for residents and $45 for non-residents.
