Monrovia's Merengue Moving; Ale House Coming

Merengue Bakery and Cafe, currently on Colorado just east of Myrtle, will be moving onto Myrtle, just across from the theater, in the space formerly occupied by Allure, according to a Merengue employee, and the current Merengue will be replaced with 38 Degree Ale House.

  1. I think it'll be good for both. Merengue's been kind of hidden down there on Colorado and should do good on Myrtle. And an ale house should be good in the place being vacated, though I still miss the Cajun restaurant.

  2. I think it´s going to be great for Merengue, since it will be right across the movie theater.

  3. There is a 38 deg in Alhambra, and it is pretty good. There is bit overlap with the other choices on myrtle in terms of food, the beer selection is superior.
