Aspiring pediatrician Karah Kirby of Monrovia is the 2016 recipient of Cal State Fullerton's Kenneth L. Goodhue-McWilliams Award, which recognizes outstanding community service in the health professions. She received the award Friday at the university's Honors and Scholars Awards ceremony, then donned cap and gown for the May 22 commencement ceremonies on campus. She graduated summa cum laude.
