At its March 15 meeting (agenda: ), the Monrovia City Council will consider ...

- Hiring Gibson Transportation Consulting, Inc., for $12,000 to study "the impact of the Gold Line on the traffic flow at key intersections."

- Establishing a ban on smoking in public parks.

- Spending $10,000 to educate and train city council members.

- Adding Station Square Park (at the train station) to the list of city designated parks.

- Brad Haugaard

  1. Why, oh why, is the city forking out $12k to study something which should've been addressed in the initial planning of the Gold Line extension?!?

  2. Why do you need a study? Simply go out there and look, and you'll get your answer!
