  1. No further details? Is there an entrance fee? Can we assume that the celebration will take place on Myrtle? Will the street be closed from Foothill to Huntington? Assuming there be various merchant tents, which merchants will be participating? Are any of the restaurants participating? What is the time line? When will the street be closed off? (5:00 pm? 6:00pm? 6:30pm?) Any info on the music / bands? The beer / wine gardens; is there an entrance fee? Are the hosted by a particular restaurnt or group of restaurants? Will it be located in a tent? Will there be an entrance fee to that event? Any info on the costs? for instance: $5 / $6/ $7 beer / wine? Will there be food / snacks / small plates? Is there a cost range? Which restaurants might be participating? --- You need to follow up with a whole lot more detail.

  2. Correction to your article - it is not a 'ball drop' but a ball raising; per Mr. Dan Bell of the city of Monrovia.
