Monrovia Market Closed This Morning | Chamber Forms 'Collaborative' Groups
~ The Monrovia Pavillions supermarket is closed this morning with the doors blocked with yellow tape and a sign that says it will open later this afternoon. A peek in the window appeared to show a plastic sheet over a portion of the market's ceiling as if there has been a problem with some of the ceiling tiles. ~ The Monrovia Chamber of Commerce is forming a series of "Collaborative Networking Groups," groups of like-minded business people who want to work together on specific interests. http://goo.gl/Kd4Jt - Brad Haugaard

I arrived at Pavillions around 6 pm Thursday afternoon to find it taped off as well. I asked some patrons in the parking lot what had occurred they said the roof collapsed! However, I called the store today and confirmed they were open prior to driving up there. I walked pretty much the entire perimeter of the store and didn't see any damage.
