Dead of Night to Feature Murder of Monrovian LaJoya McCoy

David and Alicia Clark speak with Dateline this Monday about their niece, LaJoya.

Updated: Dateline's "The Dead of Night," on the murder of LaJoya McCoy, will now air this Friday, October 9 at 10 p.m. It was previously scheduled to air September 28 but was preempted due to sports. Includes interviews with LaJoya's Uncle David and Aunt Alicia Clark, LaJoya's best friend Eva Mendoza, Detective Eddie Brown and more.

  1. All murders are tragic but killing someone that you have slept with and created children with is a very low moral-less act. Relationships in this fast paced world can be very problematic. People need to agree on the goals of their relationship so there are no misunderstandings. Of course goals change and if one person does not agree with the change they should leave the relationship. There was never any marriage in this decades long relationship which is very tell as to the goals of either or both people involved which in this case was LaJoya who wanted a maxed out life with no real commitment to marriage. The murderer is also a loser as Jose will never see his children for a long time if ever. He will have many nights to reflect on the decision he made instead of an appropriate action that includes accepting reality of his situation.
