Memorial Day Flyover over Monrovia

Memorial Day flyover by World War II era airplanes. I was kind of surprised to see German markings on a couple of them, though you can't make it out from this poor photo.

Update: Michael Sheehan has a better photo, and you can see the German markings: http://goo.gl/fbFprJ

  1. Odd about those markings. The aircraft are North American T6 "Texans", which first flew in 1937 and served as an advanced trainer/observation/light air support aircraft into the 1960's for US and foreign air forces. Some were converted to resemble the Japanese Zero for various Hollywood and TV productions.
