Man killed on West Olive identified; he was stabbed, not shot

More recent information, from the San Gabriel Valley Tribune (here), indicates that the person killed in the 100 block of West Olive Saturday night was not shot, but stabbed, in his apartment. The victim was identified as 52-year-old Arturo Gonzalez Sr. The death is being investigated as a homicide by Sheriff’s homicide detectives and Monrovia police.
