Lunch at Thai Divine, on the east side of Myrtle half a block south of Colorado. Got the Kang Ka Ree (yellow curry) for $10.95, rice for $3, and a large beer for $8. Very nice.

Lunch at Max’s Mexican Cuisine

Lunch today at Max’s Mexican Cuisine, on the north side of Huntington just across from Target. There’s a nice big tent set up in the back parking lot with a mister. Got the Chile Relleno from the Lunch Specials menu for $10.50 and a small beer for $6.  Yummy all around.

Lunch at Basin 141

Lunch today at Basin 141, at the corner of Myrtle and Lime. Got the pork belly tacos for $12, plus $2 for black beans, and a very tasty beer for $6. Very good!

Lunch at Nano Cafe

Lunch at Nano Cafe, on the north side of Duarte Road just east of Mayflower. The restaurant has lots of shaded outdoor seating. Got the Reuben Sandwich with coleslaw for $12.99 and an iced tea for $2.99. Enjoyed it a lot.

Lunch from La Noria

Got lunch today from La Noria, formerly Los Victors, a Mexican food stand at the corner of Foothill and May. I got two mini chicken tacos for 99 cents each. They came with a pepper (very hot) and some nice crisp chips. Good tacos and very good price.

Lunch today at Le Roy’s Restaurant, on the north side of Huntington just west of Mayflower. Got the Cold Plate for $10.75 and an iced tea for $3.20. A lot! and good.

Lunch at B&C Teriyaki, at the corner of Foothill and Madison. Got the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl for $6.35 and a small drink for $1.50. Cash only. A nice price for a good meal.

Lunch at The Diplomat - outside under the shade. On the north side of Lime just east of Myrtle. Got the Beef Shawarma for $15 and a beer for $7. Ah! I’ve missed draft beer. So tasty. Shawarma was really good, too!

Got dinner from 38 Degrees, on the south side of Colorado a bit east of Myrtle. Got the brisket plate for $16. Very good and enough for two meals.

Got dinner from Sena, on the West side of Myrtle just south of Lime. I got the short rib tacos for $12 and a side of beans for $2. Very satisfying! And I love the salsa.

Dinner from Jake’s Road House tonight. It’s on the east side of Myrtle just north of Olive. Got the Barbecue Chicken Salad for $13.95.  It was tasty, and filling, and there’s plenty left over for tomorrow.

Dinner from Chicken King Express, in the mini mall at the northeast corner of Foothill and Magnolia. Got the Chicken Kebab Plate for $12.50. Very good and very filling.

Dinner from T-Burgers, on the south side of Foothill a bit east of Magnolia. Got the Pastrami Sandwich for $11.49. Lots of nicely seasoned meat. Yummy!

Lunch from Mahan Indian Restaurant, on the east side of Myrtle just south of Foothill. Got the Tandoori Chicken for $12 and a side of nan bread for $2.50.  Good. Even had some left over.

Lunch from Cafe X2O, on the north side of Foothill just east of Alta Vista. Got the Chicken Kebab ($14) and substituted the rice with spinach for about $4 (wasn’t broken out so not sure). Very good. I enjoyed it all.

Lunch from Nano Cafe, at the northeast corner of Magnolia and Duarte Road. Though it was lunch I felt breakfasty so I got the California Omelet for $12.99 plus $1 to switch out hash browns for fresh fruit.
