Art committee to choose Route 66 Christmas ornament design

One of ten designs. See more here.

Monrovia’s Art in Public Places Committee will select a Christmas tree ornament design with the theme “Cruising Through the Holidays on Route 66” at its Oct. 21 meeting. The winning artist would receive $500 and have their name on the three-inch ceramic ornament.

Ornaments will be sold through the city’s online store, with proceeds supporting public art. The committee meets at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 415 S. Ivy Ave. (agenda here).
