SCE has attributed recent power outages in Monrovia to animals and vegetation contacting electrical equipment. SCE says it is inspecting equipment, managing vegetation near power lines, and evaluating additional measures. Residents can report trees or branches growing near power lines here and sign up for outage alerts here.
