The Monrovia Police Department's Citizens Academy is a free, 10-week program offering an overview of the department. Applicants must be 18 or older, live or work in Monrovia, have no criminal record, and be available for sessions on Wednesday evenings from 6-9 p.m. Classes begin August 20.
