Starbucks, which closed its shop on the north side of the Vons shopping center earlier this year, is planning to open a new shop across the street, at the corner of Foothill and Myrtle, at the location of the former Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. The company is proposing a non-illuminated building wall sign to be considered by the city's Development Review Committee. City staff is recommending approval.
