Obama Freeway Measure by Monrovia's Senator Advancing in State Senate

Legislation by State Senator Anthony Portantino, who represents Monrovia, to name part of the 134 Freeway the "President Barack H. Obama Freeway," has passed the Assembly Transportation Committee with "overwhelming support," according to a Portantino press release. The section of freeway is between the Glendale CA-2 and the Interstate 210.
