Dinner at Sourdough & Co.

Dinner at the new Sourdough & Co., on the north side of the Vons shopping center at Myrtle and Foothill. Got a small Garlic Pesto Turkey sandwich for $9.99, and made it a meal with a drink and salad for an extra $4.95. Nice sandwich.

Dinner at Basin 141

Dinner at Basin 141, at the corner of Myrtle and Lime. Got the “Pickens” Chicken Sandwich for $17.50 and a beer for $7.50. Yummy good.

Dinner at Sushi Kyo

Dinner at the new Sushi Kyo, on the side of the Vons shopping center facing Myrtle. I got the Monrovia Roll for $24.50 and a small Japanese rice beer, Koshihikari Echigo, for $8. Very elegant decor and the food was delicious.

Dinner at Baja Mar Fish Taco

Dinner at Baja Mar Fish Taco, in the little shopping center at Foothill and May. Got the fish taco combo for $11.99 and a soda for $3.49. Very bueno. (Sorry about the picture. I was hungry, forgot to take a picture, and ate one of the two tacos before I remembered.)

Dinner at TK Cafe Hawaiian BBQ

Dinner at TK Cafe Hawaiian BBQ, in the Vons shopping center at the corner of Foothill and Myrtle. Got the mahi-mahi plate for $14.98 and a soda for $1.98. (There are also veggies under the fish.) Nice, and they definitely do not skimp. I’ve got enough for a couple more meals.

Dinner at Tito’s Sandwiches and Empanadas

Dinner at Tito’s Sandwiches and Empanadas, on the south side of Colorado a bit east of Ivy. Got three ground beef empanadas for $2.99 apiece and a soda for $2.99. Good and filling. Two were plenty; I took one home.

Dinner at T Burgers

Had dinner at T Burgers, on the south side of Foothill just east of Magnolia. Got a chicken gyro for $8.99, and a regular size soda for $3.19. Nice.

Had dinner at Sena, on the west side of Myrtle just south of Lime. Got the carnitas tacos for $14 and a beer for $7. Tasty.

Dinner at The State, on the east side of Myrtle near the corner of Lemon. Got the pesto chicken sandwich for $16 and a beer for $8. I enjoyed it.

Dinner at JB Burgers, at the northwest corner of Olive and Myrtle. Got the double cheeseburger combo for  $13.59. Ambience? Not much, but a mighty good burger.

Had dinner at Tacos & Papas, on the east side of Myrtle just north of Lemon. Got a pork birria burrito for $12.75 and a beer for $3.99. I thought birria was always goat, but not so. Tasty and filling.

Brunch at Troy Donuts & Burgers

Had brunch at Troy Donuts & Burgers, on the west side of Myrtle a bit south of Duarte Road. Got a nice sausage and egg bagel for $7.99 and an orange juice for $7. Note: The restaurant closes at 3:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. Sundays.

Brunch at Madre’s Brunch

Had brunch at the new Madre’s Brunch, on the south side of Lemon, a half block east of Myrtle. Got the Salmon Toast with avocado for $17.50 and a mineral water for $5. Nice.

Dinner at Thai Thyme, on the east side of Myrtle, just north of Olive. Got the green curry with chicken ($15.95), rice ($3.50), and a beer ($8). Very tasty.

Dinner at KBOP Korean Kitchen, in the shopping center at the southeast corner of Huntington and Mayflower. Got the six-piece boneless chicken with soy garlic and spicy mayo dipping sauce and a drink for $12. Very nice.

Had dinner at B & C Teriyaki, at the northwest corner of Foothill and Madison. Got a chicken teriyaki bowl for $8.82 and a small drink for $2.26. Outdoor seating only. Very nice and a great price.

Dinner at Mikomi Sushi, at the southwest corner of Myrtle and Colorado. Got the Small Bite Chicken Katsu (no rice or salad) for $12.95 and a beer for the happy hour price of $4.50. Very nice.

Dinner at Saigon Avenue, on the south side of Lemon just east of Myrtle. Got the Filet Mignon Sandwich for $13 and added egg to it for an extra three dollars, plus, a beer for six dollars. Very nice.

Dinner at La Sexy Michelada, near the northwest corner of Huntington and Magnolia. Got the Carne Asada Burrito for $13 (on special, usual price $16) and a 24-ounce beer for $8 (happy hour price). Very good.
