A hands-on French cooking class honoring Julia Child will be held Dec. 3, 6–9 p.m., at Sauté Academy, 150 E. Colorado Blvd., in Monrovia. Chef Alex Reyes will guide participants in preparing a three-course modern French bistro dinner, including a surprise dessert, with French wines. The class is conducted in English and benefits Alliance Française de Pasadena’s language and cultural programs. Cost is $145, or $135 for members; participation is limited to 28. Register by Nov. 25.
