Council to honor Monrovian Marion Rudnyk, discoverer of 'Asteroid Monrovia'

At its next meeting Tuesday, October 20, at 7:30 p.m. (agenda here) the City Council will consider recognizing Marion Rudnyk for his discovery of “Asteroid Monrovia.” From Rudnyk's website: "Marian is excited to announce that he has now named his discovered asteroid, originally designated "1986 PU1", as now officially named "Asteroid 26090 Monrovia", aka "Asteroid Monrovia" - in honor of his beloved hometown of Monrovia, California."
