At 8:11 a.m., a victim in the 600 block of S. Fifth reported his vehicle stolen. This investigation is continuing.

At 6:20 p.m., a resident in the 400 block of W. Hillcrest reported his vehicle was broken into and tools were taken. This investigation is continuing.

Grand Theft Auto
At 8:28 a.m., a vehicle was reported stolen in the 400 block of Grand. The vehicle was located by an officer abandoned later that night. This investigation is continuing.
Court Order Violation
At 12:33 p.m., a victim in the 700 block of Oceanview reported that a restrained person had been trying to contact her via social media. This investigation is continuing.

Missing Person
At 11:20 a.m., a resident in the 900 block of Norumbega reported her friend missing. He was entered into the missing persons system. This investigation is continuing.
Shoplifting – Suspect Arrested
At 7:04 p.m., a loss prevention officer at a store in the 500 block of Huntington reported a shoplifting incident. Officers arrived and located the suspect outside the store, still in possession of the stolen property. He was arrested and taken into custody.

Grand Theft Auto / Pursuit
At 5:40 a.m., a delivery driver in the 200 block of W. Pomona reported that his vehicle had been stolen. Officers located the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop, the driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit was terminated to ensure the safety of the public. This investigation is continuing.
Vehicle Burglary
At 7:04 a.m., a resident in the 200 block of S. Sunset reported a window to his vehicle was shattered and tools were taken. This investigation is continuing.

At 7:36 a.m., a victim in the 200 block of E. Maple reported that his vehicle's window was shattered and tools were stolen. This investigation is continuing.
Vandalism
At 1:36 p.m., a resident in the 800 block of Encino Way reported a window to her vehicle had been shattered. This investigation is continuing.

Mail Theft
At 1:19 p.m., a package theft from the victim's front porch was reported in the 900 block of S. Ivy. This investigation is continuing.
Outside Assist
At 5:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of S. Myrtle to provide assistance to an outside agency regarding an incident on the train tracks.

Attempt Grand Theft Auto
At 10:03 a.m., a resident in the 200 block of W. Cypress called to report that someone attempted to steal their vehicle. This investigation is continuing.
Fraud
At 10:22 a.m., a victim walked into the MPD lobby to report fraud. An investigation revealed the victim was attempting to purchase a vehicle online and was talking with someone who he believed was a sales manager. The victim paid for a vehicle that he has not received yet. This investigation is continuing.
Vehicle Burglary
At 11:57 a.m., a resident in the 200 block of S. Magnolia reported that the window to his vehicle was shattered and tools were taken. This investigation is continuing.
Incident Report
At 6:29 p.m., a manager for a business in the 400 block of S. Myrtle reported that a male subject left a bag behind with a firearm inside. The firearm was booked into evidence for safekeeping. This investigation is continuing.

At 2:28 a.m., a resident in the 200 block of Montana reported the catalytic converter to his vehicle stolen. This investigation is continuing.
