ReplyDeleteThis bright idea takes me back to when I lived on the floor of the Arroyo in Pasadena.
ReplyDeleteA group who didn't live where I did decided that a Spanish text writ in 1783 defined the highest moral position of the Arroyo and that residents therein should be limited by that document. Like, plant nothing that wasn't present in 1783 and don't take anything out that was present in 1783, and Pasadena City would hire a special arborist to oversee my yard. His call of course was final.
We (those whose lives were affected) finally got this nanny bright idea overturned, but it was a fight. And a straw in the wind.
So, I think very little of the idea that the warmth of collectivist government should be applied to property owners by those with no exposure to having their personal decisions overruled on the whims of minds that loved the Covid "vaccine".
