Your power rates vs. So Cal Edison's base rate

If you selected the Clean Power Alliance's Lean Power option for your electricity, your rates just went down on July 1 by 2% compared to Southern California Edison’s base rate. The Clean Power option roughly matches Edison's rate, and the 100% Green Power rate is 6% higher than Edison. You can change your rate plan, or opt out, at any time. CPA website here.

    Oh, no!!! The 100% Green Power Rate is 6% more expensive than, than...those troglodytes...at SCE who are poisoning the Earth with CO2?? There must be a mistake here.

    Green is clean and should be free! Power to the people!!

    Nobody told us this would happen...we were told the opposite. Why is that?
