Monrovia has saved 200 million gallons of water since the start of its Phase II conservation efforts in March 2022, a reduction of water usage of 11%. It has also collected $907,478 in Excess Penalty Revenue from customers who consumed more water than their target allocations. The money will be used to implement further water saving programs.
