Housing Opportunity for Low Income Monrovians

San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity is seeking low-income, first-time home buyers, currently living in crowded or substandard housing conditions who are willing to contribute a minimum of 500 hours of Sweat Equity in building their home and the homes of their future neighbors.

Application forms will be available at four informational meetings at the Glendale Recreation Center, 201 E. Colorado St., Glendale, CA 91205:

● Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 7 p.m.
● Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 10 a.m.
● Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 7 p.m.
● Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 10 a.m.

There is no charge for attending. At the information meetings, individuals will learn how to apply to become a Habitat for Humanity Partner Family. City and Habitat representatives will explain all aspects of the application process. Attendees will learn about qualification guidelines and what will be expected of families chosen to become a Habitat Partner Family.

SGV Habitat has completed 37 affordable homes in Glendale and has served the community for 26 years by building and repairing affordable homes for low-income families.
