Taxes and the Artist Workshop

Feb. 13, 10 a.m. to Noon, "Taxes and the Artist" Workshop at Monrovia Community Center - Monroe Room, 119 W. Palm Ave. Essentials of income tax for artists and artist groups of all disciplines, and the self-employed. Learn to track income and expenses and correctly file taxes. Topics include: record keeping, Form 1040, Schedule C, the self-employment schedule, deductions, hobby losses, home offices, and more. A workbook, "The Art of Deduction," is included with the admission fee. Additional handouts will be provided.
