  2. The DREAM Act is a travesty, when deserving kids in CA cannot fund or even get admitted to CA colleges, and Brown et. al. pander to Latinos by admitting illegals and funding them. La Raza and La Reconquista, si, si! The state is broke, by policy choices which make it a lousy place to do business for the private sector. This is one more way that the Legislature has decided they have unlimited funds to do whatever they want and reallly cannot address CA's genuine problems. Gil Cedillo hasn't done anything in more than five years but push three bills according more benefits for illegals, every year the same stuff, and then do whatever the Democrat leadership tells him to. He has zero insight as to what is wrong here and how to fix it. His dreaming is not going to do anything but get him handshakes from illegals. If that is why the Legislature exists, why doesn't the state secede and plead for Mexico to annex it? It would be more honest. And if things in Mexico are so wonderful, why are people coming here? Besides the welfare, I mean.
