  1. I want to congratulate the City, and those responsible for the Fountain to the Falls Run/Walk, for a job well-done. I've run in various races (from 5K's to Marathons) for over thirty years and found many inaugural races to be a disaster in their organization. This run today went without a hitch, at least from this runners perspective. The registration, bib number pick-up, restroom availability, on-time start, traffic control, water-stops, chip-timing, trail management (i.e. in Canyon Park) and quick availability of results, were all first class -- and of course this includes kudos to all the volunteers that made it happen. I hope the merchants found that it brought business to town and will support the run again next year. I also hope our non-runner Monrovia neighbors will not complain about the minor traffic inconvenience for a few hours this morning. Thanks for adding this event to the Monrovia Anniversary Celebration.
