Proposed assessment district voted down

The proposed Citywide Lighting, Landscaping, and Parks Maintenance Assessment District did not win voter approval and will not be implemented.

City manager, Dylan Feik reported that of the nearly 4000 ballots cast, 72% were against the proposal.

The proposed district would have replaced two existing assessment districts. With the failure of this measure to win approval, the two existing districts will remain in place.
