School superintendent Paula Hart Rodas reports that on October 1, Moody's - which rates the quality of bonds - boosted Monrovia Unified School District's rating from A1 to Aa3, making it cheaper for the district to borrow money. Aa3 is the fourth highest Moody's ranking, out of 21 ranks, so the district's bonds are considered high quality and very low credit risk.
