City Council to consider mural for new Satoru Tsuneishi Park

At its next meeting (agenda here) the Monrovia City Council will consider hiring Trinity Rivard for up to $25,000 to paint a 100-foot mural on a block wall on the south side of the new Satoru Tsuneishi Park, just behind the Chick-fil-A. Details and close-ups of the mural here

  1. The city has this much money for a mural but want to assess millions to pay for trees, parks, traffic signals etc. this money has been completely mismanaged. This is a travesty of socialist policy that this city has agreed to. By not putting this assessment on an actual ballot it's basically shoving it down your throat!! Monrovia has been taken over by liberal socialism. Where is all the taxpayer money going? Something is definitely wrong and there needs to be an audit taken. Gas tax and street fund taxes go to traffic signals. This money is being put somewhere else.
