The pirate ship on Hillcrest is a big hit. Pirates and skeletons and even a broadside of cannons. Hundreds of people crowded around to see.
The Harvest Festival at Calvary Chapel Monrovia was crowded with families enjoying games, food, music, and a petting zoo.
As always, Alta Vista north of Hillcrest was blocked off and the street hosted a party.

ReplyDeleteI live on Melrose and think "why don't we get any trick or treaters?" Then I walked up Alta Vista, the street next to ours, and realized "oh, this is why".
