Schamadan: Hold off on Christmas!
Monrovia columnist Charlotte Schamadan cheers Nordstrom (in the Star-News' Weekly Star) for committing to NOT putting up Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving. To which I add, Amen! I think early decorations ignore Thanksgiving and, ironically, minimize Christmas - If it is always Christmas season, it's never Christmas season.
