Got dinner tonight from Hawaiian Barbecue, in the Vons shopping center at Foothill and Myrtle. Had the Chicken Katsu for $6.99. No outdoor seating so we ate at home. Wow! Tasty and a very, very lot for not much money. I’ve got plenty left over for another full meal. 
Got dinner tonight from Hon Sushi, on the north side of the Vons parking lot at the corner of Foothill and Myrtle. Got the Monrovia Roll (how could I resist) with tempura shrimp, crab meat, avocado, salmon and cucumber and stuff for $13.95. It was very tasty. 
Got lunch today from The Monrovian, at the corner of Myrtle and Colorado. Had the Chicken Pesto Sandwich ($10), and it was excellent - moist, flavorful and Big! I was thinking of saving part for dinner but it was just too good. 
Got lunch today from Cafe de Olla, a fairly new restaurant on the west side of Myrtle about mid-block between Lemon and Lime. Very clean and modern interior. Got the Chicken Chipotle Sandwich with a side of fruit for $10.95. Great! Just right spicy.
Okay, this is embarrassing. This photo is of what is left over after we ate it all. I forgot to take a picture of all the food listed below before we started eating (I think I was anxious to get to it), but the dumplings looked like this - but there were lots and lots more of them. 
Just got lunch from Ikonicks Burgers, on the east side of Myrtle just south of Lime. Got the Shrimp Burger for $13 and a beer for $1.50 No seating, of course, so I walked it over to Library Park. The burger had a beef patty and whole shrimp grilled onions and a creamy sauce. It was delicious and the beer was cold and crisp!
Lunch at Mikomi Sushi, on the east side of Myrtle about a half block south of Lime. Got the Combination Bento A, with spicy chicken for $10.95, and added an egg for $1.50. And a small beer for $4.95. Very nice. 
Lunch at Jake’s Roadhouse, on the east side of Myrtle just north of Olive. Kinda cool out so I got the chili for $9.95 and a soda for $3.05. Very nice chili; real chunks of meat. 
Lunch at Seasoning Alley, at the corner of Lime and Myrtle. Got the falafel plate for $9.99 and a soda for $2.25. Nice and filling. 
Lunch at Sena, on the west side of Myrtle just south of Lime. Got the Verde Pork tacos for $11 and a tasty beer for $7. Delicious!
Lunch at Peach Cafe, on the north side of Colorado just west of Ivy. Got the Short Rib Grilled Cheese Sandwich with a side of fruit for $12 and an iced tea for $2.75. Very good!
Lunch at BurgerIM, on the east side of Fifth just south of Huntington. Got the Spanish Burger for $7.99 and an iced tea for $2.79. Pleasant covered outdoor seating. Burger was nice and spicy.
